A green thumb is not something you are born with, but a skill that can be learned and developed. In this four-part series, we'll explore some challenges and strategies to help you find your special touch with plants.

Our facilitator, Esme, holds a Prairie Horticulture certificate from Olds College in Alberta and is currently training to become a Master Gardener through Dalhousie University. She is registered with the Atlantic Master Gardener Association.

  • July 6 - Introduction: Common challenges and how to set up for success.
  • July 13 - Houseplants: Caring for therapeutic and decorative plants indoors.
  • July 20 - Vegetable gardens: How to assess and prepare your outdoor garden space.
  • July 27 - Window herbs: Getting started growing herbs indoors.

No experience necessary. For adults 18+. Please plan to attend all four skill-building sessions. Registration will close 24 hours before the first session begins.
